Position Summary
As an Event Services Specialist, you will be responsible for liaising with group coordinators and hosts prior to events, ensuring that all arrangements meet expectations.

Your duties will include reviewing and interpreting banquet event orders to gather essential guest information, determining appropriate setups, timelines, and specific guest requirements.

You will also respond to and fulfill special requests related to banquet events, ensuring compliance with all arrangements.


Adherence to company policies regarding safety and security is crucial; you will report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management and complete necessary safety training.

Maintaining a professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information is essential, as is protecting company assets.

Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, anticipate their service needs, and express genuine appreciation.

Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests, answering phone calls with appropriate etiquette. Build and maintain positive working relationships with team members to achieve common goals. Ensure quality standards are met and verify information in various formats.

Physical demands include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, lifting and carrying objects up to 25 pounds, and navigating through various environments.



Preferred Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: A minimum of 1 year in a similar role.

Supervisory Experience: Not required.

License or Certification: None
