Job Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness and sanitation in various kitchens, environments, and hotel areas. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and disassemble cleaning equipment, including steam cleaners, pressure washers, and floor scrubbers.
  • Perform general sanitation duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and cleaning small and large kitchen appliances.
  • Enforce safety, health, and sanitation codes, and inspect and report any safety conditions.
  • Assist with daily walk-throughs to ensure quality of work and maintain high cleanliness standards.

Requirements:

  • Basic experience in kitchen, janitorial, and housekeeping cleaning services.
  • Expert knowledge of operating cleaning equipment and proper use of solutions.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to comprehend and communicate job requests.
  • Basic math skills for inventory control and reconstitution of cleaning solutions.

Working Conditions:

This role requires frequent walking, standing, climbing, heavy lifting, and carrying, as well as working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. The employee will be exposed to hot and cold temperatures, excessive noises, fumes, and toxic chemicals.
