Key Responsibilities

Pediatrix is offering a remarkable career opportunity for a board-eligible/board-certified neonatologist to become part of our newly established practice at Piedmont Cartersville Regional Medical Center in Cartersville, GA. This facility is a 119-bed hospital and a Level III Trauma Center, conveniently located just a short drive from downtown Atlanta. It has been recognized as one of Healthgrades' Top 250 Best Hospitals in the nation for 2022 and 2023.

  • Provide care for Level II NICU infants
  • Attend high-risk deliveries and cesarean sections
  • Cover well babies in the 12-bed newborn nursery
  • Conduct daily rounds in-house with on-call responsibilities from home during the night
