Pharmacist - Medication Therapy Specialist

Job Summary:
Piedmont HealthCare seeks a skilled Pharmacist - Medication Therapy Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing optimal medication therapy to patients across various age groups.
Responsibilities:
- Review, compound, and dispense medication therapy for infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Supervise pharmacy technician activities, including monitoring of orders filled by auxiliary personnel.
- Perform patient-focused care clinical activities throughout the hospital to provide patients with optimal medication therapy.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy with a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Pharmacy.
- Licensed as a registered pharmacist in the state of Georgia.
- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
Work Schedule:
The successful candidate will work variable shifts, mainly days, with some evenings and nights when needed for PTO coverage. A flexible schedule is required, with the option to work up to 5 shifts per week based on census-driven staffing needs.
Weekend Rotation:
A weekend rotation every 2-3 weekends is required, with the 7am-3:30pm shift being the primary weekend shift.
