Senior Estimator for Demolition Company

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team at Jobot. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for demolition projects, reviewing and interpreting construction plans and specifications, and negotiating contracts and agreements with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for demolition projects, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
  • Review and interpret construction plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of estimates.
  • Conduct risk analysis and implement risk management strategies.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in demolition techniques and equipment.
  • Provide technical advice and solve problems on-site.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Senior Estimator, specifically in the demolition sector of the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in preparing detailed cost estimates, contracts, and proposals.
  • Strong understanding of construction plans and specifications.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to secure profitable contracts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct risk analysis and implement risk management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
  • Proficiency in industry-specific software and technology.
  • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
