About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine physician to join our team as a Core Faculty member in our Internal Medicine Residency Program. As a Core Faculty member, you will play a vital role in shaping the program and contributing to the education and development of our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Split time between educational, administrative, and clinical care
  • Serve as a role model, mentor, and advisor to residents in the program
  • Participate in the selection, orientation, and evaluation of residents
  • Contribute to the development of program curriculum and evaluation tools
  • Promote internal medicine care and the residency program, practicing the full scope of ambulatory primary care medicine
  • Provide appropriate levels of resident supervision to ensure patient safety

Qualifications:

  • Board certified in Internal Medicine
  • Licensed to practice Internal Medicine in the state of South Carolina
  • Demonstrated interest in the education of residents
  • Commitment to leadership in resident education and program administration
