As a vital member of our Radiation Therapy team, you will be working full-time, 40 hours a week, from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support certification within 90 days of hire
Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in the delivery of direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
  • Providing basic nursing care, including bathing, feeding, and measuring vital signs
  • Demonstrating competency in required clinical skills and technologies as per Inova Health System policies
  • Completing assigned patient duties within established time frames
  • Documenting patient care accurately and reinforcing discharge teaching and home care skills
  • Communicating changes in patient status to the Registered Nurse promptly
  • Collaborating with the Registered Nurse to develop a professional growth plan
  • Performing additional duties as assigned
