We are currently looking for a highly skilled Resident Engineer to join our team at Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our projects, ensuring timely completion and meeting the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a minimum of seven years of experience. You should be familiar with web-based construction management software such as Primavera Unifier and have experience working on roadways in the District of Columbia.

Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of project execution, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling;
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies;
  • Coordinate and manage communication among stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams;
  • Analyze data and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery;
  • Prepare and present reports, proposals, and other documents to support project goals and objectives;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective project strategies;
  • Provide guidance and training to junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve project delivery and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field;
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on green infrastructure, stormwater, sewer, or other utility construction;
  • Familiarity with web-based construction management software, such as Primavera Unifier;
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Washington, DC or ability to obtain by reciprocity;
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects;
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with ability to interpret and apply complex data and regulations.
