Phlebotomist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at LabCorp. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the accuracy of laboratory results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
  • Process and prepare specimens for testing and analysis
  • Enter patient information and specimen data into our laboratory information system
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (preferred)
  • Previous experience as a Phlebotomist (required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
