LPN - Behavioral Health Nurse

Join NewPath Child and Family Solutions as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Behavioral Mental Health Services Program. We are seeking a caring and compassionate individual to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Job Summary:We are looking for an LPN to work primarily at our East Campus, providing direct patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health diagnoses and a passion for working with youth.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including preparing and administering medications and treatments.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and document findings.
- Monitor and advocate for re-evaluations of medications and associated labs.
- Assist prescribers with patient appointments and obtain vital signs, medical history, and new orders.
- Assess Residential clients for injuries or illnesses and assist with patient care.
- Manage inventory of medication, first-aid supplies, and lab supplies.
- Current Ohio LPN license in good standing.
- 1 year of experience in a related field, with at least 1 year of experience working with youth preferred.
- Experience with mental health diagnoses and a strong understanding of treatment options.
- Good written and verbal skills, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
