Position Overview:
This role encompasses a .90 Clinical and .10 Administrative FTE status.

The Medical Director will oversee the strategic direction, operational efficiency, and growth of the Inpatient Psychiatry division. This position involves collaboration with the Executive Medical Director, Service Line Director, and/or relevant Practice Manager. The Medical Director will lead their team in formulating and implementing operational strategies aimed at achieving the division's ambitious objectives, which include but are not limited to: enhancing patient satisfaction, improving clinical outcomes, achieving financial targets, launching new services, fostering regional growth, developing referral networks, optimizing clinical operations, and facilitating medical staff interactions.

Leadership Responsibilities:
In this pivotal role, the Medical Director will engage closely with fellow physician leaders, healthcare providers, nursing administration, recruitment teams, clinical and financial personnel, and marketing departments. Additionally, the Medical Director will provide direct clinical care to patients within their division and across the MedChi network. A collaborative leadership approach is essential to elevate the division's status as a recognized leader in alignment with MedChi's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Experience Requirements:
Preferred: 5 years of management experience.

Educational Qualifications:
Required: Graduate degree in Medicine.

Licensure and Certification:
Required: Licensed Medical Physician.

Work Schedule:
Varied hours, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with one weekend shift every four weeks.

Weekend Commitment:
Every fourth weekend.

On-Call Duties:
