Key Responsibilities:

The Role:
- Ensure that produce displays and shelves meet quality standards through proper product rotation.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with the public and store staff.
- Conduct assessments of customer needs and report findings to the sales manager.
- Perform weekly price audits in stores.
- Evaluate customer satisfaction and communicate results to the sales manager.
- Follow instructions from the sales manager diligently.

The merchandiser must be adaptable to the dynamic needs of our business, which are influenced by customer requirements operating on grocery and retail hours.

- Conduct impromptu store visits and coordinate with customer schedules.
- Collaborate with your manager to address issues as they arise.
- Adhere to the itinerary while remaining flexible to changes.
- Work with other staff to resolve order-related concerns.
- Communicate professionally with various produce managers, store owners, and other employees.
- Attend all sales meetings.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of the retail, wholesale, and produce sectors.
- Strong organizational skills for managing, rotating, and stocking shelves during store visits.
- Ability to maintain professionalism with the public and store personnel.

Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility, with the capacity to respond swiftly to changing requirements while ensuring effective communication with all parties involved.

- A minimum of two years of retail experience in the wholesale produce sector.

Computer Skills:
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office:
- Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and commit to travel 90% of the time.
