Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Tech Surgery Center to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Operating Room.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with instruments during surgical procedures.
  • Meet Standards of Practice, manage supplies and equipment, and maintain proper inventory on all instruments in the department.
  • Coordinate instrumentation and surgical supplies, and assist in surgical suite preparation for various surgical cases.
  • Have knowledge of aseptic technique, sterile environments, instrument care, and handling.
  • Work as a team player and meet the needs of the surgical team.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a Surgical Technology program or military equivalent training in the Surgical Technologist role.
  • Certification in Surgical Technology or verifiable Surgical Tech experience prior to 9/1/2009.
  • Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience preferred.
