Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver prompt and friendly service to guests, identifying their coffee preferences and needs.
• Educate customers by clearly presenting and explaining the coffee menu, addressing any inquiries.
• Ensure consistent quality in beverages, whole beans, and food items by adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Accurately record drink orders immediately upon receipt into the register system.
• Process guest payments, including credit card transactions and providing change when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work areas.
• Prepare garnishes for beverages.
• Follow health and safety guidelines for all products.
• Keep the coffee station tidy, including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Restock and replenish inventory and supplies as needed.
• Exhibit behaviors that foster long-term guest loyalty.
• Take personal responsibility for meeting performance expectations and maintaining high-quality work standards.
• Communicate effectively and in a timely manner, utilizing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate as a cohesive team, recognizing achievements, showing respect, and assisting colleagues.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including proficiency in written, verbal, and listening abilities.
• Effective selling skills, with the ability to ask questions, listen, and recommend products.
• Merchandising skills to create appealing displays in service, self-service, and bakery areas, along with effective cross-merchandising throughout the store.
• Cleaning skills to meet sanitation and visual standards.
