Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Director in the operation of the school, ensuring compliance with company and state licensing standards.
  • Develop and implement educational programs that promote the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of children.
  • Collaborate with staff to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that fosters a love of learning.
  • Participate in on-site projects and tasks to gain hands-on experience and prepare for leadership roles.
  • Attend meetings and contribute to business and organizational development.
  • Travel to multiple childcare centers to assist and learn.
Requirements:
  • Early childhood professional credential (CDA, CCP, or AAS in early childhood education); Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, rules, and regulations relevant to childcare facility operations.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and budget management.
  • At least one year of experience in a supervisory role and two years of experience as a classroom teacher or childcare provider.
