Job Title: Systems Administrator

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the full life cycle management of our Windows Client/Server Environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new engineering solutions across multiple systems, including virtual environments, server-based solutions, and workstation deployments.
  • Document engineering standards, develop, deploy, and test client architecture and engineering design solutions.
  • Evaluate current and emerging technologies, conduct technical assessments, and make recommendations to engineers and management.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of virtualization environments, such as VMware or Nutanix, and experience with Citrix is preferred.
  • Perform Windows environment monitoring and troubleshooting, and independently build and deploy virtual servers and make domain-level changes.
  • Understand security vulnerabilities and be able to mitigate them as needed.
  • Install and configure required Trellix products, including Trellix Endpoint Security (ENS) Client, Threat Prevention, Access Protection, and DLP on enterprise endpoints; maintain security compliance and troubleshoot/resolving issues remotely.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, and WSUS, as well as third-party software patching.
  • Familiarity with patching tools like WSUS, SCCM, or PDQ Deploy.
  • Ability to provide training and mentoring to team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of experience, or Master's degree and at least 6 years of experience, or at least 12 years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Must have a TS/SCI with poly to be considered.
