The MRI Imaging Technologist is responsible for executing magnetic resonance imaging procedures in compliance with established ARRT standards and ethical guidelines. The individual must demonstrate proficiency in various computer applications, particularly those related to technical systems, and possess a solid understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, pathophysiology, and the principles of magnetic resonance physics. This role operates under the general oversight of the Site Manager, MRI Modality Specialist, and Radiologist.
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $67.33, contingent upon relevant experience, skills, and qualifications. Additionally, this position offers a sign-on bonus of $10,000.00.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for MRI examinations by providing detailed explanations of procedures and clear instructions.
- Utilize GE Signa and Siemens Aera MRI scanners effectively.
- Gather comprehensive patient histories relevant to the imaging procedure.
- Accurately execute physician orders to produce high-quality images with minimal repeats.
- Perform intravenous (IV) punctures as required.
- Handle necessary computer functions related to patient examinations (PACS).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work and patient examination areas.
- Participate in orientation and training sessions for new personnel.
- Check work email on a daily basis.
- Complete all other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- ARRT (R) or AMRIT Registry certification is required.
- ARRT (MR) registration is mandatory.
- Valid Radiologic Technologist Certification from the state is essential.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to apply IV principles within the scope of Radiologic Technologists.
