About the Role
The Barbering Program Lead is a crucial leadership position responsible for the oversight of barbering education across multiple locations. This role serves as the primary expert in the delivery of barbering training, guiding both students and instructors to ensure the highest standards of educational quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver barbering courses with a commitment to excellence in the profession.
- Supervise Barber Educators and Student Educators, ensuring a consistent and high-quality educational experience.
- Mentor and train new Student Educators, supporting their journey towards licensure.
- Create an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for all students.
- Monitor student retention and achievement metrics.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals and alumni.
- Assess and enhance program effectiveness, implementing necessary improvements.
- Update and refine the barbering curriculum to align with state regulations and industry advancements.
- Hold a valid Barber Instructor License.
