Job Title: Federal Market Research Analyst

SRI International is seeking a highly skilled Federal Market Research Analyst to join our Business Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting market research and analysis to identify opportunities and enable SRI to fulfill its mission.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative research into consumers, competitors, and federal markets to identify opportunities and enable SRI to fulfill its mission.
  • Monitor and gather market intelligence to stay informed of the federal research and development landscape and federal agency funding priorities, focusing on positioning SRI for growth.
  • Use your creativity and strong communication skills to effectively summarize information and deliver fresh insights to our internal teams and leadership.
  • Analyze data from numerous sources to identify market trends and inform our world-changing research programs and funding pursuits.
  • Understand the business objectives of our broad portfolio of research divisions and structure approaches to identify and analyze market data and assess customer preferences.
  • Support a team of portfolio managers in developing and delivering a pipeline of opportunities for SRI's R&D capabilities across multiple federal sectors.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field with a demonstrated passion for growing your business analysis skills and capabilities.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in market research and analysis, or minimum 2 years of experience with an advanced degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Experience in federal market research, ideally working within a broad knowledge of how federal markets work, and how to analyze them.
  • Experience utilizing industry tools such as GovWin, PitchBook, or similar.
  • Strong written, verbal, and graphical communications skills.
  • High degree of professionalism, active listening, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage a wide variety of complex tasks and projects simultaneously.
