Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team in the High-Risk Pediatrics unit. This is a 91-week contract position, with guaranteed hours and a competitive salary. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and families, and to develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.



Job Description

As a travel nurse for high-risk pediatrics, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality patient care to our most vulnerable patients. This will involve assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.



Responsibilities:


  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patients' conditions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • A valid RN license in the state of Washington
  • 1-2 years of experience in high-risk pediatrics or a related specialty
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to float between units as needed
