As a Vending Machine Service Technician, you will be responsible for repairing, installing, and servicing all vending equipment, including beverage coolers, vending machines, fountain equipment, and other appliances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, transport, and install vending machines, coolers, and other appliances at customer locations.
  • Disassemble and reassemble appliances, replacing and repairing mechanical and electrical parts.
  • Perform required sanitation services on appliances.
  • Utilize tools and diagnostic equipment to diagnose appliance malfunctions, excess vibration, overheating, fluid leaks, and loose parts.
  • Calibrate control devices, such as timers and thermostats, and adjust contact points.
  • Clean and wash parts, replacing worn or defective parts, such as panels, switches, pumps, compressors, bearings, transmissions, belts, gears, blowers, and defective wiring.
  • Repair and adjust appliance motors, reassembling appliances, adjusting, and lubricating moving parts.
  • Respond to customer call-in needs on an on-call basis as scheduled during non-business hours.
  • Complete vehicle, service call logs, and other associated forms.
  • Keep assigned service vehicle clean, perform pre-trip inspections, and routine oil, water, and air maintenance.
  • Clean shop work areas.
  • Wear and utilize appropriate safety equipment.
  • Wear company-provided uniforms and present a professional appearance to customers and the marketplace.
  • Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

Requirements

  • Reliable, caring, and committed individuals who can demonstrate customer service skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration.
  • Loud noise levels in the work environment.
