Locums, Inc. is in search of a dedicated Physician to join a PACE Program clinic focused on delivering exceptional care to elderly patients in Sacramento, CA. This clinic is committed to serving frail geriatric individuals and facilitating their continued presence in the community through collaborative, interdisciplinary care.

Key Details:
  • Immediate Opening: Full-time position with 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. No evening, weekend, or holiday shifts required.
  • Current Operations: The clinic operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the provider expected to conduct telehealth and in-home visits during these days until full clinic operations commence.
  • Patient Volume: Anticipated to manage approximately 57 patients per day.
  • Patient Demographics: 100% of the patient population is geriatric.
  • Clinical Responsibilities: The role includes diagnosing, treating, prescribing medications, administering immunizations, and providing follow-up care to the local geriatric community under the PACE program.
  • Technology: The clinic utilizes Greenway PrimeSuite for electronic medical records.
  • Insurance: Malpractice insurance will be provided.
  • Travel Support: For locum tenens providers, travel, lodging, and mileage expenses will be covered.

Qualifications:
  • Active and unrestricted California Physician License.
  • Clean professional background.
  • Active and unrestricted DEA License.
  • Board Certification required.
