We are on the lookout for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our operations in a food manufacturing environment. The maintenance team is growing, and we need a technician with a mechanical aptitude and 2-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a background in maintaining automated machinery and stainless steel welding, along with the capability to swiftly diagnose and resolve mechanical issues. There are ample opportunities for career advancement within the organization for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Installation, repair, and upkeep of machinery related to the production process
  • Engagement in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding tasks
  • Conducting electrical troubleshooting and repairs
  • Welding experience is essential
  • Rebuilding machines and overhauling components
  • Executing preventative maintenance inspections
  • Operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and JLG lifts
  • Performing additional related duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A two-year technical degree in Electrical/Mechanical repair or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments
  • Experience with bearing fitting, spindle alignment, calibration, and adjustments
  • Ability to read and interpret industrial blueprints
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
