Job Summary

We are seeking a Lighting Product Specialist for our BLU54 division in Minneapolis. This role involves implementing sourcing and procurement strategies, estimating material needs, and managing supply chains from preconstruction to project close-out.

Responsibilities

  • Design Phase and Estimating
  • Create comprehensive lighting bills of materials and quotes.
  • Analyze construction documents and drawings to accurately estimate project material needs.
  • Develop pricing strategies and collaborate with Product Managers to quote individual project scopes.
  • Negotiate purchase orders with suppliers and manage vendor relationships.

Project Management

  • Manage vendors, suppliers, and trade partners to meet project budgets and schedules.
  • Purchase materials and services in collaboration with BLU54 Account Specialists.
  • Work closely with Product Managers to maintain project schedules.
  • Coordinate shop drawing and product submittal processes with suppliers and trade partners.
  • Professionally communicate with customers and project design teams.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers through regular interactions.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years of experience in the industry preferred.
  • Experience working with assigned product lines is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and software tools like ProCore, Parspec, and BlueBeam.
  • Active listening skills and effective communication are crucial for success in this role.
  • Ability to travel up to 10-20% monthly or quarterly for project sites.

Salary Estimate: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
