Position Overview

The Serenity Center is seeking a dedicated Clinician to join our team. This role is integral to our mission of supporting individuals navigating their recovery journey from substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to clients.
  • Develop and maintain individualized, person-centered recovery plans, revising them every six months.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing in service delivery.
  • Facilitate both individual and group psychotherapy sessions.
  • Act as a consultant to enhance the Serenity team’s understanding of co-occurring disorders.
  • Coordinate with emergency services when clients are in crisis.
  • Assist clients in accessing higher levels of care, including detox and residential treatment programs.
  • Meet clients in the most suitable settings, whether at the Serenity Center or within the community.
  • Collaborate with other community providers while adhering to privacy and confidentiality regulations.

Qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field is preferred.
  • Licensure as LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC is required.
