About this Role

As our new Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational continuity of our PACE center. You will oversee the maintenance of the building, equipment, and grounds, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for participants, staff, and visitors. You will also coordinate repairs, manage vendors, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement scalable systems for managing existing and future myPlace Care centers, including written plans for maintenance, documentation, and facility reviews.
  • Receive and triage work orders through our Freshservice platform, prioritizing urgent issues and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Perform minor repairs yourself to keep the center in top shape.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for more complex repairs and improvement projects, overseeing their work and ensuring quality.
  • Maintain an inventory of essential supplies and place orders as needed.
  • Schedule and track preventive maintenance tasks to minimize disruptions and keep equipment running smoothly.
  • Work closely with the Compliance team to ensure our facility meets all federal, state, local, and organizational regulations.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of 3 or more years of experience in facilities management, ideally in a healthcare or senior care setting.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing a team to achieve shared objectives.
  • Strategic and adaptable leader with a passion for enhancing the lives of older adults.
  • Hands-on and results-oriented, with a focus on achieving long-term goals.
  • Collaborative relationship builder with internal teams, external vendors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Empathetic and supportive manager, inspiring and motivating team members.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on maintaining accurate records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Technologically adept, with proficiency in platforms like Freshservice and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and security systems.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, particularly those related to PACE.
  • Project management expertise, with the ability to plan, execute, and manage projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
