Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments and develop respiratory care plans under the direction of a physician.
  • Conduct various technical and diagnostic respiratory therapy procedures in all areas of the hospital.
  • Manage ventilators, oxygen delivery devices, and therapeutic monitoring systems.
  • Collect and analyze blood gas samples, EKGs, and chest films.
  • Participate in CAP and JC surveys, and maintain accurate and complete documentation.
  • Assist with advanced practice skills, including therapeutic gas management, pulmonary function testing, and bronchoscopy.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • RT or RCP License in the state of employment.
  • BLS certification.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification by the NBRC.
  • 1-3 years of experience in respiratory therapy preferred.
Work Schedule

Full-time position with a 7AM-7PM work schedule.
