Pulmonary Care Specialist

As a Respiratory Therapist at CHRISTUS Health, you will play a critical role in the pulmonary care of adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. Your expertise will be essential in assessing patients and developing respiratory care plans. You will perform various technical and diagnostic procedures, including airway management, ventilator management, and oxygen delivery device management.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
  • Perform emergency response, airway management, and delivery of aerosolized drugs.
  • Manage ventilators, oral hygiene, and airway retaining devices.
  • Monitor oxygen delivery devices and therapeutic levels.
  • Participate in CAP and JC surveys.
  • Function as Shift Leader or Team Leader.
Requirements:
  • RT or RCP License in state of employment required.
  • BLS required.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC required.
