Position Overview
A Research Fellow position is open in the Laboratory of Neurogenetics & Neuroscience at a leading academic institution, concentrating on the genetic factors influencing brain health and disorders. Our team has significantly contributed to understanding the genetic basis of neurodegenerative diseases through a blend of population studies and pedigree-based molecular genetics, utilizing advanced techniques such as high-throughput sequencing, genotyping, and Sanger sequencing, alongside bioinformatics and statistical analysis.
Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will collaborate with a team dedicated to investigating the primary molecular genetic factors associated with neurological conditions. Multiple research projects are available, tailored to the candidate's skills and interests. Experience in molecular biology techniques related to high-throughput sequencing is preferred. Qualifications
