Fabrication Specialist

This role involves a range of tasks, including the installation of wire harnesses, connection of wires according to diagrams, use of power tools to install compressors, and quality checks to ensure high standards.

• Install and connect wire harnesses and electrical components according to diagrams and specifications.
• Use power tools, hand tools, and other equipment to install air compressors, perform brazing tasks, and carry out foam installations.
• Conduct quality inspections and checks to ensure that all assembled units meet the required standards.

The work environment for this position is a standard fabrication and assembly operation divided into two areas: fabrication and assembly. The fabrication area includes a laser cutting machine, deburring and brazing stations, and workstations for basic hand tool work. The assembly area is organized but somewhat cramped, with units moving on carts from area to area. PPE includes steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, protective cut sleeves, and cut gloves. Employees must wear cotton, canvas, or denim pants and keep hoods off their heads.
