Dent Wizard is the nation's leading provider of automotive reconditioning services and vehicle protection products. We're seeking a skilled and motivated Wheel Technician to join our team in Madison, WI.

About the Role

As a Wheel Technician with Dent Wizard, you'll use the latest tools and techniques to restore wheels and wheel covers to their original condition. You'll work on site at customer locations, using spray-painting equipment, power tools, and work aids to repair cosmetic damages such as curb and road rash, peeling, scrapes, gouges, oxidation, and bent wheels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and restore wheels and wheel covers using spray-painting equipment, power tools, and work aids
  • Inspect wheels and identify areas that require repair or restoration
  • Mix and apply paint to match OEM colors
  • Use explosion-proof filtration and fixtures in our environmentally friendly trucks
  • Work independently and manage your day with minimal supervision

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Auto painting experience or collision repair technical school training preferred but not required
  • Vision abilities including close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Toughness and grit to work outside in all kinds of weather
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to interact with customers and build accounts
  • Manual dexterity for repetitive-motion tasks
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to work independently
  • Physical stamina to kneel, bend, squat, and climb, as well as lift up to 45 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
Compensation

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. This position is primarily paid on a highly incentivized commission structure. The starting compensation is expected to be: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00
