Dining Room Attendant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bus Server to join our team at Kickapoo Casino. As a Bus Server, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift and ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
• Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for the next course, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
• Clear tables after guests, taking tableware to the dish room and placing silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing.
• Between seating, promptly clean tabletops, chairs, and booths, checking the floor and cleaning as required, and resetting and arranging tabletops to ensure a clean and inviting atmosphere.
• Inspect assigned restrooms every 30 minutes and clean as needed, maintaining a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Respond appropriately to guest requests, communicating with servers and hostesses to ensure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service.
• Assist servers as needed with food delivery, especially during peak periods, and thank guests as they leave.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant, as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
• Maintain a professional appearance, adhering to a well-groomed standard.
• Provide friendly and courteous customer service, ensuring that all guests feel welcome and valued.
• Perform other duties and projects as required by management.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic math skills and cash handling skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work any shifts, start times, weekends, and holidays.
• Documents that establish both identity and employment eligibility.
• Kickapoo Tribal Gaming License.
