About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team at Wise Auto Group. As a key member of our Parts Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and retail sales experience to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Assist customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Part Sales: Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensure they are exposed to our full product line.
  • Phone and Email Support: Answer phone calls, provide price quotes, and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Inventory Management: Pull and fill orders from stock, notify the parts manager of out-of-stock parts, and locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources.
  • Order Fulfillment: Notify customers and the service advisor when special ordered parts have been received, and follow up on back-ordered parts.
  • Administrative Tasks: Verify will-call and back-order files weekly, return to vendors or stock items not picked up or required, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 3 months of experience in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Strong communication and customer relations skills, strong math and reading comprehension skills, and ability to lift 60 lbs and work at heights of 25 feet or more.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent degree preferred.
  • Certifications: Ability to use a forklift or willingness to be certified within 90 days of hire.
