Summary:
KarvX, an innovative indoor ski and snowboard training facility, is seeking a motivated and results-oriented professional who possesses a strong passion for skiing and snowboarding, along with a commitment to enhancing customer experiences. This role is pivotal in establishing a fresh concept in the Northeast ski industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive ski and snowboard training curriculum.
  • Oversee scheduling of lessons and optimize operational workflows.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer service experience.
  • Participate in industry-related events and maintain professional connections.
  • Coordinate events and activities for customers as required.
  • Enhance operational performance to achieve sales objectives through creative marketing strategies and partnerships.
  • Guide and mentor instructors and support staff.
  • Provide ski instruction as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and conduct necessary training.
  • Facilitate orientation and training programs for new hires.

Essential Skills:

  • Leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze, create, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with ski resort and hospitality management.
  • Proficient in marketing and sales communication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Hospitality Management is preferred.
  • Experience as an instructor in a resort setting; prior supervisory or managerial roles are advantageous.

Certifications:

  • PSIA/AASI Level I Certification or higher is required.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

  • Some travel may be necessary for industry engagements.
  • Physical fitness is essential for teaching and operational duties.
  • Regular skiing and utilization of indoor ski simulators are expected.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Compensation & Benefits: Salary will be determined based on experience.
