Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a skilled Floor Maintenance Technician to join our team in Ladson, SC. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional cleaning and maintenance services to our industrial facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain buildings and facilities to the highest standards
  • Perform heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing trash
  • Operate ride-on scrubbers to maintain aisleways and other high-traffic areas
  • Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, colleagues, and management
  • Comply with all safety, security, and quality standards
  • Be flexible and willing to complete all assigned tasks
Requirements:
  • 1 year of relevant experience in industrial or commercial cleaning
  • Experience operating ride-on scrubbers
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work at an accelerated pace in emergency conditions
  • Ability to differentiate colors and wear Personal Protective Equipment as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
