Job Title: Service Technician

Lincoln Electric is seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our North American Service Team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing aftermarket parts and products, testing to ensure they meet standard specifications, and educating customers on preventative maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and test aftermarket parts and products
  • Educate customers on preventative maintenance schedules
  • Perform maintenance functions per customer request and service work orders
  • Diagnose customer problems and identify repair solutions
  • Prepare quotes and sales orders for spare parts and consumables
  • Complete detailed reports and service tickets documenting work performed
  • Communicate with customers on service-related work and proactive recommendations
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience as a Service Technician
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including conveyor repairs and electrical panel troubleshooting
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Familiarity with ABB and Fanuc Robotic Systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel 75% of the year
Work Environment:

The Service Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration.

Physical Demands:

The Service Technician will be required to stand/walk on cement floors, use hands to finger, handle, or grasp, and reach with hands and arms. The position requires occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling objects that weigh up to 60 pounds.
