About the Role

As a CBRE Transaction Manager, you will be responsible for the ongoing management of real estate transaction activities for a defined portfolio of commercial properties on behalf of a healthcare client. This role will be based in the Portland, OR market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement real estate plans with an understanding of the client's strategic real estate goals, assisting with project initiation and scope definition, prioritization of assignments, and adherence to client-driven priorities, commitments, and milestones.
  • Act as a landlord or seller agent and tenant or buyer agent to effectively negotiate business terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate the negotiation of sales through a field broker, including negotiating leases and lease amendments, monitoring lease expirations, and negotiating lease renewals.
  • Locate and acquire new properties to meet the client's requirements and timeline.
  • Disposition of surplus space through subleasing, sales, early lease terminations, etc.
  • Understand how to review, evaluate, and interpret financial analysis templates.
  • Closely track transaction and project activity, recording all savings results achieved, preparing reports, and making presentations to relevant parties.
  • Maintain a real estate project tracking system to ensure timely transaction completion, preparing reports, and making presentations to relevant parties.
  • Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards, understanding and recognizing the broader impact across the department.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values, influencing parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of real estate transactions or related experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Healthcare transactions experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Real Estate salesperson license required.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job subject area and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive approach.
  • Sophisticated math skills, ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
