Position Overview:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing all necessary tasks related to the installation, adjustment, and upkeep of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role also involves troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and computer-related issues and implementing effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment, including engines, motors, and production machines.
  • Utilize diagrams, manuals, and engineering specifications to identify and resolve malfunctions.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs and plant instrumentation.
  • Document all maintenance activities and issues clearly for communication with management.
  • Identify problems by observing equipment in operation and using precision measuring tools.
  • Adjust and repair functional parts of devices using hand tools and measuring instruments.
  • Analyze operational issues and implement corrective actions to enhance production and quality.
  • Install new machinery and perform welding and metalwork as needed.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of tools and supplies.
  • Assist in training team members on new equipment operations.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by leadership.
  • Regular attendance is essential.


Qualifications:
  • Technical degree or trade school certification in mechanical, electrical, or HVAC is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in plant maintenance with a focus on electronic troubleshooting is necessary.

  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using common and advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
