Job Description:

VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide general wellness checkups on site at a private business in Lexington, VA. Our office arranges patient appointments and handles administrative tasks, allowing you to focus on one-on-one patient care.

Responsibilities:

* Provide general wellness checkups
* Consult with patients to understand their health concerns
* Perform blood draws for patients
* Advise/refer patients for follow-up care
* Provide telemedicine services for lab review follow-ups
* Identify pre-diabetes and early stage diabetes and refer them to our diabetes management program

Requirements:

* Valid and clean license to work in VA
* Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)/ (FNP-C)/ (FNP-BC)/ Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) certified
* Background in internal medicine, family practice, urgent care, or emergency room
* Experience with diabetes education/management
* Must be able to perform phlebotomy
* Must be proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently
* Must have a collaborating MD to cover this job (if applicable)
* Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including booster shot)
