We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at CarMax. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning vehicles to meet our high standards.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, ensuring a safe and reliable driving experience for our customers.
- Work collaboratively with our team to solve technical problems and meet production deadlines.
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of domestic and foreign vehicles, including engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and heating and air conditioning systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, participating in ongoing training and development opportunities.
- 1-2 years of experience in automotive repair, with a focus on engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and heating and air conditioning systems.
- ASE certifications in Steering and Suspension (A4), Brakes (A5), Heating Air Conditioning (A7), Electrical (A6), Engine Repair (A1), Manual Drive Train and Axles (A3), Engine Performance (A8), and Automatic Transmission/Transaxle (A2).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
