Position Overview:
The Business Support Specialist plays a vital role within Lee Company's Projects group, a dynamic team dedicated to collaboration, professional development, and innovative problem-solving. Reporting to the Director of Project Support, this position is responsible for engaging with various business units to identify, analyze, and fulfill their operational needs. This role requires strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to optimize the utilization of technology within the Projects group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews with stakeholders to gather user requirements and understand their needs.
- Analyze and specify business requirements to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Assist in the development, testing, and implementation of business software solutions.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, to support project documentation and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a business environment, with a focus on project management and process improvement.
- Experience in developing and implementing ERP systems or similar business software is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the construction industry is a plus.
