Job Title: Food Runner/Register

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Runner/Register to join our team at Big Buns Damn Good Burgers. As a Food Runner/Register, you will be responsible for taking orders, maintaining accurate cash drawers, and delivering food and beverages to guests in a timely manner. You will also assist in expediting and running food, ensuring that dishes are complete and being sent to the correct tables with their corresponding orders.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking orders and maintaining accurate cash drawers
  • Delivering food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
  • Assisting in expediting and running food
  • Ensuring that dishes are complete and being sent to the correct tables with their corresponding orders
  • Maintaining a clean restaurant from the dining area, bar area, restrooms, etc.
  • Completing side-work and other tasks as assigned
  • Maintaining a presentable appearance and good personal hygiene
  • Setting up station and performing side work according to specifications
  • Attending all scheduled Staff Meetings unless otherwise approved by manager
  • Following company SOPs and standards when serving all food items and clearing tables
  • Expediting and running food
  • Delivering curbside pick-up orders
  • Assisting servers as needed

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a restaurant
  • Food and beverage knowledge
  • Able to take direction and work in a team environment
  • Able to solve problems, and work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Strong self-motivation and organizational skills
  • Able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift
  • Ability to transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly
  • Effective and professional oral communication skills
