Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Runner/Busser to join our team at Wren, a Japanese-inspired restaurant in Tysons. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a clean and safe dining environment, and supporting our kitchen and restaurant staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Guest Service: Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, anticipate and respond to their needs, and provide the highest level of service.
  • Bussing/Cleaning: Clear and wipe down tables and counters, dispose of garbage, clean floors, pick up dishes and glassware, and re-stock as necessary.
  • Safety/Risk Management: Maintain a clean and safe work area, handle beverages and food in compliance with regulations, and assist in maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of the restaurant, kitchen, and dish room.
  • Self Management: Produce required volume of work, adhere to grooming and appearance standards, and attend all required department and hotel meetings.
  • Miscellaneous/Other Duties: Complete all required side work, take initiative to assist servers, dishwashers, or other restaurant staff as needed, and work as a team player to contribute to the success of the guest's experience.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a positive attitude, and provide exceptional service to our guests. You should also be able to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly and efficiently in a busy restaurant setting.
