Job Overview

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking an experienced Project Management and Controls Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our project control team, you will be responsible for leading project accounting teams, mentoring, and training analytical and expert project controls functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project accounting teams, mentoring, and training analytical and expert project controls functions.
  • Perform, train, and mentor all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and fiscal year-end deliverables.
  • WIP reporting, monthly CTC reviews, and revenue recognitions.
  • Contract status review, P&L status monitoring, and job cost profitability analysis.
  • EVM and GMP analysis, internal audit of project accounting practices, and financial liaison between project accounting, scheduling, operations, and corporate accounting.
  • Collaborate with the Controller on accounting processes impacting job costing, facilitate project and service accounting meetings, and prepare management reports.
  • Ensure the validity and accuracy of the CMS software system through analysis, internal audit, and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Construction Management, Electrical/Civil/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Accounting/Finance, or Project Management.
  • 5-10 years of Project Control experience in Construction, preferably in Solar, Renewable Energy, or Power Generation.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to travel to project sites monthly, proficient in Excel, MS Office, Primavera, and/or MS Project, Ecosys, Viewpoint, and Document Control programs.
  • Effective communication (oral and written), organization, and interpersonal skills, understanding of job costing, prints, and contracts.
  • Knowledge of federal and state codes, office mobility, and ability to work in challenging weather conditions.

Compensation:

$109,000 - $121,000 per annum. We provide compensation ranges based on full-time schedules and reserve the right to adjust as necessary.
