We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Floor Maintenance Specialist to join our team at UH Cleveland Medical Center. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Clean patient rooms, public spaces, and collect trash and biohazardous materials.
  • Operate various cleaning equipment, including vacuum, wide vacuum, mop, wringer, burnisher, ladder, and extractor.
  • Assist family members and patients of all ages.
  • Identify and perform light maintenance requests.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and coworkers.
  • Take responsibility for self-development and support a learning environment.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • May work in any location on client premises.
Qualifications
  • High School Equivalent / GED.
  • 5+ years of cleaning experience required.
  • Completion of designed Tri-C courses.
  • Experience in hospital setting preferred.
  • Exposure/experience with floor work.
  • Cleaning and major surface maintenance experience in hospital setting preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills required.
