The Executive Assistant to the CEO of the Americas region plays a pivotal role in facilitating the operations of the CEO's Office, ensuring the effective implementation of the regional strategy. This position is essential in prioritizing tasks, identifying potential challenges, and fostering collaboration among various leadership teams on cross-functional initiatives. You will engage with key stakeholders to nurture vital relationships for the CEO's Office.

This role encompasses significant strategic areas including Strategy, Operations, Communications, Governance, and Innovation, requiring close collaboration with both regional and global teams. Reporting directly to the CEO of the Americas, this position necessitates a strong partnership with Senior Leaders across AXA XL and AXA Group on matters of strategic significance, often involving highly confidential information.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Chief Executive Officer - Americas in the following ways:
  • Oversee the successful implementation of strategic initiatives within the CEO's scope:
    • Monitor progress and identify potential risks.
    • Serve as a sounding board for project stakeholders, providing constructive feedback and recommendations to enhance execution.
    • Facilitate communication and act as the primary liaison for internal stakeholders, fostering trusted relationships and ensuring seamless cooperation with the Leadership team.
  • Maintain a comprehensive view of CEO activities to manage ongoing priorities:
    • Analyze information and proactively anticipate issues.
    • Evaluate inquiries directed to the Chief Executive Officer, Americas, and recommend appropriate actions or delegations.
    • Assist the Chief Executive Officer, Americas in prioritizing time and scheduling: manage the cadence and agendas of critical meetings (leadership team meetings, direct reports, key clients, and essential stakeholders).
    • Create and design high-quality presentations for both internal and external meetings.

•Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner for the Chief Executive Officer, Americas, offering insights and feedback on new initiatives and ideas.
  • Communications Management:
    • Serve as the point of contact with the global communications team to ensure consistent messaging across the Americas region.
    • Collaborate with the global communications team to draft and refine communications, ensuring alignment with regional strategies and nuances.
You will report to the Chief Executive Officer, Americas.
