We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health team at Ascension St. Vincent's East - Trussville. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients, conduct bio-psychosocial assessments, and develop nursing plans of care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Conduct initial and on-going bio-psychosocial assessments according to accepted standards of nursing practice.
- Develop a nursing plan of care consistent with the master treatment plan.
- Participate in treatment team conferences to assist in planning and revising goals, objectives, and interventions.
- Implement nursing plan of care for assigned patients and conduct group therapy sessions.
- Evaluate patient's response to interventions and revise nursing plan of care as needed.
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider, Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing.
