Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of respiratory care practitioners in providing high-quality patient care, including respiratory therapy, patient assessment, and education.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to respiratory care practitioners to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory care education program.
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of Texas.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of four years of experience as a respiratory care practitioner, with at least two years of experience in a leadership role.
- Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives and data analysis.
