Position Overview:
This role is designed for remote work within the Sutter Health Northern California region.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Accounting professional, you will engage in a range of moderately complex financial tasks for a specific line of business or set of accounts. Your duties will include:
  • Maintaining, reconciling, and analyzing assigned general ledger accounts.
  • Preparing journal entries and financial statements.
  • Analyzing variances, transactions, and records.
  • Providing information to internal and external auditors and clarifying financial records.

Qualifications:
Education:
Equivalent experience may be considered in place of the required degree.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting.

Skills and Knowledge:
Applicants should possess:
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles, auditing, and financial reporting, including GAAP.
  • Knowledge of GAAS.
  • Familiarity with accounting and financial operations.
  • Proficiency in computerized accounting systems.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Work Environment:
This position is eligible for remote work, with a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday. No weekend work is required.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $33.26 to $49.89 per hour, subject to variation based on experience, education, and other factors.
