Estimator for Large-Scale Construction Projects

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive cost estimations for large ground-up projects, leveraging your expertise to maximize accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to evaluate project specifications and create detailed bid packages.
- Thoroughly analyze blueprints, drawings, and other project documents to identify potential risks, costs, and challenges.
- Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive bids and reliable partnerships.
- Deliver precise estimates within required deadlines, presenting findings to senior management for review and approval.
Essential Job Functions:
- Utilize your 10+ years of experience in estimating to provide accurate cost projections and timelines.
- Apply your understanding of industry standards and best practices to develop reliable estimates for project budgets.
- Conduct thorough research on market trends, materials, and labor costs to stay up-to-date with industry changes.
- Utilize specialized software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in estimating processes.
- Prepare detailed reports, spreadsheets, and presentations to effectively communicate project estimations.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools, such as Procore or Bluebeam.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve estimating challenges.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a reputable company committed to employee satisfaction and growth. In addition to a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000, our client offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacations, company-paid holidays, joint funding of medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability plans, and 401k options.
